Compressed Gas Safety Training Course

People using compressed gas should be aware of all of the potential safety issues that may arise and the control measures that need to be in place. This course offers a general awareness of all safety issues

Under the Regulations , employers must provide sufficient information, instruction and training so that employees are fully aware of the safety issues and the precautions they need to take.

Aims of the course
The aims of the course are to raise awareness of the health and safety issues associated with using and handling compressed gases.
To provide instruction in appropriate control measure to reduce the risks..

The structure of the course

  • Gas Use.
  • Handling and Control Information.
  • Labeling and fittings on compressed gas containers.
  • Empty Containers.
  • Emergencies.
  • Fire Situations
  • Dealing with gas leaks.
  • Gas Container storage.

Number of Delegates
This course is suitable for up to a maximum of 12 delegates.

Who should attend
Managers, supervisors and Team Leaders.
Employees who are required to use or handle hazardous substances.

Certification
All delegates who complete the course are awarded a certificate of attendance..

Course Duration:
Either half day or one day duration.
